Ferrari Ki Sawaari Movie Review

My Word:  Indeed Sharman Joshi did fine job, engaging from the beginning, slow in the end, it'd be a decent family watch for this weekend.

Ferrari Ki Sawaari is a well-intentioned film with its heart positioned firmly in the right place. And yet, this simple-minded tale about an ordinary family chasing an extraordinary dream never quite soars. A little shorter, a little more subtle, this one could’ve zoomed......Read Full Review

FERRARI KI SAWAARI is a noble film that has its heart in the right place. It's well-intended and sincere and it goes about its business with incredible earnestness. Of course, the film has its share of hiccups. But keeping the fault-finding apart, FERRARI KI SAWAARI is an accomplished effort. This heartwarming, tender and sprightly film should not be missed!......Read Full Review

What makes the film interesting is its less-taken route (through a Ferrari) and the ensuing eventful journey. Ironically, this is a Ferrari that will zoom straight into your heart for its modesty. A beautiful watch!.....Read Full Review

Vroom! Vroom! It's time to go zoom! This indeed, signals a new innings in Sharman Joshi's career. His performance is heart-warming, shuffling between light-hearted moments and tear-jerking emotions. Young Ritvik, like a true captain, holds the team together, he'll bowl you over. Boman Irani, with his Parsi nuances, hunchback, slur, and a beautiful play of emotions ranging from despondency to exuberance, delivers a smashing performance......Read Full Review

What’s Good: The heartfelt characterisations; the performances.
What’s Bad: A few weak portions of the drama; the slow pace of the second half; the track of the Marathi leader which does not add much value.
Verdict:  Ferrari Ki Sawaari is a well-intentioned drama which entertains in parts.

The movie is competently crafted and well-intentioned cricket-themed film steers clear of many of commercial Hindi cinema’s narrative conventions – it sure gets full marks on that count – but succumbs to some of its most retreaded clichés. Ferrari Ki Sawaari is a bit like a warm bear hug that eventually leaves you cold.......Read Full Review

The dialogues by RajKumar Hirani entertain us with a handful of LOL-worthy moments. The excellent cinematography works in its favor.
And that is the best that can be said about Ferrari Ki Sawaari. One or two brilliant moments, a handful of good moments but they don't come together to give us a great film.....Read Full Review

Films like these are rare. If you evaluate ‘Ferrari Ki Sawaari’ with the usual metrics set for comedies, it lacks everything that would get a film distributer to bounce his belly or seduce an audience member to shell a chunk of his weekend budget on a multiplex ticket. No Bollywood A-listers, no comedy of errors where people get seriously injured, double meaning jokes- absent.......Read Full Review

Ferrari Ki Sawaari is worth-watching. It is a tribute to all the young budding players of the nation, who dream to grow up as India's second Master Blaster. Though the film is way to far from the stereotyped mirch masala movies, it would teach you to dream big and make it possible......Read Full Review

Cute and engaging story. Reminds you of grandma’s tales. Sharman Joshi as Rustom, a father who swears by all rules of life, is convincing. Boman Irani as a grumpy old man is superb. The film is a sweet slice of life. And one at which you can’t stop grinning. Top notch entertainer.......Read Full Review
