Ek Tha Tiger isn’t an over-indulgent one-man showreel. Hallelujah, this film has a plot. Unfortunately, however, it’s a one-line, threadbare plot around which director Kabir Khan constructs the entire movie. The romantic portions in Ek Tha Tiger are warm and fuzzy, the humor thankfully clean and light-hearted. At best, it’s a satisfying watch. The good news is that Ek Tha Tiger has more story, coherence and emotion. The bad news is that the story is essentially a comic-book with Salman playing a super-heroic RAW agent. What works for the film big time apart from Salman Khan is the action. It's slick and woven well into the script. It pushes the story forward unlike the song which jerks it backwards (by many miles). Also, the fact that Salman is gung-ho about the action and romance in this film is a huge plus. A Salman Khan film does not need a review! As usual, Salman Khan was the backbone of Ek Tha Tiger, and delivers terrific and astounding performance. His one single glimpse is more than enough to make any movie a blockbuster one. ETT is for a second time treat to all the Salman Khan's fans, lovers and followers. Katrina was a good supportive and has remarkably impressed the viewers with her action stunts. Girish Karnad and Ranvir Shorey were first-rate, and rest of the actors had equally supported well.
