It’s hard to shake off that feeling of fatigue as you sit there in your seat watching Ice Age 4: Continental Drift, the fourth, and sadly most formulaic installment in the popular animated series. Despite the gorgeous animation, Continental Drift lacks the simple charm of the previous films.  It’s harmless fun for younger audiences, but adults who loved the earlier films will agree that it’s time to put these animals down........Read Full Review

Its like an ice-scream that's melting, but still the taste remains same but doesn't live upto the expectations. It left me a bit cool......watch video review

Ice Age 4 is a fitting sequel to the animal saga that turned out to be a moving human parable when it was first released in 2002. There isn't a single second when the screen is not ablaze with fights, battles and survival-of-the-fittest drama. Excellent in 3-D and eminently watchable in 2-D too, Ice Age 4 is indeed alluring fare for the family this weekend. .....Read Full Review

What’s Good?: The hilarious comic punches, 3D Visual Effects
What’s Bad?: The ever dragging combats

Ice Age 4 begins, as usual. The plot is infused with random events and makes for a tedious watch. It is with a heart filled with sadness I admit, Ice Age: The Continental Drift does not live up to the hype. Don’t worry though, the kids will love it. Every bit of it.......Read Full Review

Its very imaginative deployment of family relationships, love, companionship, betrayal and finally an exciting re-union, ‘Ice Age 4’ is a joy ride altogether.
‘Ice Age: Continental Drift’ may not be as compelling in terms of the storyline as the earlier ones, but it’s definitely not boring. If you are looking forward to a weekend you want to spend with family and kids, ‘Ice Age 4’ is a pretty safe bet!......Read Full Review

The story heads at a frantic speed. There are some nice 3D flourishes but as animals & fishes come leaping out of screen but most of it feels forced & familiar. Kids will enjoy the color & noise of Ice Age 4 but rest of us there isn't much to cheer about.......Watch Video Review

Ice Age: Continental Drift 3D has moments of charm and witty slapstick, but it often seems content to recycle ideas from the previous films.
Chicago Suntimes: By Roger Ebert

The characters are manic and idiotic, the dialogue is rat-a-tat chatter, the action is entirely at the service of the 3-D, and the movie depends on bright colors, lots of noise and a few songs in between the whiplash moments.......Read Full Review

"Continental Drift," like its predecessors, is much too friendly to dislike, and its vision of interspecies multiculturalism is generous and appealing. Its witty and touching and marvelously concise, part of a series that has managed to stay fresh and inventive after many years in the pop-culture spotlight........Read Full Review

Ice Age 4 has a dreary plot, but the film keeps throwing things at you, like a colorful ape pirate (Peter Dinklage) and a fun hallucination sequence. That said, the laughs are starting to feel prehistoric........Read Full Review

The dialogue is sometimes too sluggish and definitely too preachy, the ending is a little too sappy, yet somehow this strange collection of prehistoric critters and their completely illogical life are consistently likable, if not quite lovable.......Read Full Review

There’s considerably less drift in “Ice Age: Continental Drift”. And at a brisk 94 minutes, it’s less reliant on charm-starved chatter among its increasingly over-stuffed voice cast.
It's all sight gags and action beats, which tends to cover the shortcomings these assembly-line farces are infamous for.....Read Full Review
