Bittoo Boss is an enjoyable enough ride until it goes off-track.I’m going with two-and-a-half out of five for Bittoo Boss. The film tosses around some interesting ideas, but can’t seem to make them work as a perfect whole......Read Full Review

BITTOO BOSS is a clear case of unfulfilled promises. One expects the story and the execution of the written material to leave an indelible impression, but director Supavitra Babul doesn't get it right. Sure, the plot has potential, but the writing is lopsided and tedious and what makes it worse is the indolent tempo at which the plot unfurls. On the whole, BITTOO BOSS is a good opportunity lost..…... The first few scenes might give a Band Baajaa Baaraat kinda impression with the hero meeting the heroine (Amita Pathak) in a marriage setting and subsequently pursuing her endlessly. Bittoo Boss neither boasts of the drama of Bigg Boss (from where it derives its title and theme) nor the entertainment value of Band Baajaa Baaraat (from where it derives its basic backdrop)..…..Read Full Review

What’s Good: A few cute portions of the drama; Pulkit Samrat’s earnest performance.
What’s Bad:The script which meanders mindlessly; the slow pace of the drama; the lack of heart-touching emotions.
Verdict: Bittoo Boss is a half-baked fare at best. It will do ordinary business at the box-office.…..Read Full Review

Supavitra Babul's directorial debut Bittoo Boss, however, trying far too hard to be the next Band Baaja Baaraat, is a mostly amateurish effort which seems like relatively harmless fun before it turns sloppy. Leading man Pulkit Samrat brings some shaggy sincerity to the proceedings but is mostly surrounded by folks who can't act, and a sluggish, inexplicably banal plot.…..Read Full Review

The first half sent me to sleep with the unpolished Bittoo chasing the richer, posher Mrinalini, with all those scooter rides, and ice cream-and-'gurdwara' dates. Post interval, it becomes the film it set out to be, at least in parts, when the good-hearted Bittoo tries his hand at becoming the recorder and purveyor of visual material from hotel 'suhagraat' suites......Read Full Review

We really wish we had something substantial to write in the ‘3 ups’ section. Though, music is a respite. And we have a unique character named ‘Bicky’ which does crack some fresh jokes. Regarding ‘downs’, the movie is a big downer in itself. We do not recommend you watching it even if you’re having a bad day. In fact, especially, if you’re having a bad day. It will get worse..…Read Full Review

Pulkit Samrat’s acting skills are commendable. He convincingly plays the character of a rustic cameraman from a small town. Amita Pathak is a disappointment, with just a couple of expressions that she can showcase. The glitch is that the second half ofBittoo Boss comprises of many turns, all so clichéd that you start dreading them. So in case you have nothing else to do, watch Bittoo Boss, but only for Pulkit Samrat’s performance. ‘Coz he is the only boss here..…..Read Full Review

BITTOO BOSS is interesting in the first few reels. The energy thrown in by debutant actor Pulkit Samrat, who plays the protagonist, is noteworthy. The film relies heavily on Pulkit, and even though the lad makes an honest attempt he is not able to pull off the film. Though the sincerity of the makers is seen, the product per say is not packaged well enough to woo the masses.A good first half but a poor post-interval session..…….Read Full Review

So why should you watch Bittoo Boss? You can see it’s made with love. The intention is honest and debutant director Supavitra Babul’s vision of an entertainer (under parental guidance) comes through. Even though the film wanders, with the first and second half almost disconnected, it is an earnest attempt. When it’s not trying too hard to impress, Bittoo Boss is worth at least a onetime watch..…Read Full Review
