Ojha's Opinion:
It says "Don't just watch it". Well, I agree, Have some chat with your neighbour to avoid some hard-trying-funny moments. There are some ridiculous scenes but few dialogue's Eng-cum-Hindi by Ajay Devg will entertain you. If you're fan of typical Rohit Shetty movies. Go for it. Bol Bachchan, directed by Rohit Shetty, revels gleefully in its silliness. This is a film whose pedestrian humor requires neither taste nor common sense to appreciate. offers a few genuine laughs, but it’s too long and too labored to describe as a pleasing film. Shetty, who came up with some clever comic sketches particularly in his first and third Golmaal films, appears to be cashing in on past glory with this dull rehash of his successful work. Even if you’re a fan of Rohit Shetty’s cinema, it’s unlikely your chest will become a blouse over this one!.....Read Full ReviewIBNLive: By Rituparna Chatterjee

Ajay Devgn is a comic revelation. He alone carries BolBachchan which is otherwise a film marred by seriously loud acting. It's a frame-by-frame copy of Golmaal. Except, Golmaal (1979) is a masterpiece that cannot be copied. Atleast it won't kill you, has some humour. Still its worth a watch, after all just for Ajay Devgn - via twitterBollywood Hungama: By Taran Adarsh

BOL BACHCHAN works primarily thanks to the entertainment quotient and of course, the persuasive portrayals by its lead actors. But the movie flatters due to erratic pacing at times & some scenes try too hard to make you laugh & fails. Certainly has couple of loose ends. However its a dhamaal entertainer that has Rohit Shetty stamp all over it. Also it has everything Big Stars, Big Visuals & Big Entertainment.......Read Full ReviewRJ Aditi: (Gujarati) Dostana yaad avi gayu....!! Abhishek no dance joi ne. A staple Rohit Shetty film with Ajay Devgn, flying SUV's and a story buffering in d background. thoroughly enjoyable :)

BB's a dialogue-lover's delight - lines like 'fish and chips without water', Devgn conveying the situation of a 'jal bin machli' - sparkle across the plot and you can feel the love as the actors reprise bits and bobs of vintage Bollywood. But it exceeds by about 30 minutes and has that odd, uneven heart-chart quality accompanying the film. But that aside, BB showcases Shetty as the maharaja of madness, Devgn clearly his crown prince. And Abhishek? His judwa bhai, of course.....Read Full ReviewRediff.com: By Sukanya Verma

Its amateurish & silly. Bol Bachchan primarily concerns itself with its leading men and their blundering equation. Its is a typified Rohit Shetty slapstick. Bol Bachchan isn't an out-and-out comedy throwing in large-scale action and irksome melodrama. Its a dispensable cinema, forgotten almost immediately after it's over......Read Full ReviewCollection by Bol Bachchan in 1st Weekend

This one’s strictly for Bollywood junkies whose funny bones are easy to tickle. Yes, Bol Bachchan is a hot air balloon with no air, hot or otherwise. So expect no genuine comic highs. Bol Bachchan is a comedy so absurd that it could reduce you to tears of despair.Acting is unabashedly hammy.......Read Full ReviewHindustan Times: By Anupama Chopra

Honestly, it's very hard for me to review a film like Bol Bachchan. Because the elements that usually make a film a film are entirely missing here. There is no attempt at plot, story-telling, character, coherence, logic. Don't go looking for the original here you won't find it. But what you will get is labored, relentlessly mediocre entertainment that will exhaust you......Read Full ReviewzoOm Review Show: By Omar Qureshi

Shetty conveniently steps into the Singham territory as and when he feels like it, so slo-mo blows, head butts, wild car chases and lots of satakleli action are common. Bol Bachchan borrows a lot from and seeks to spoof Bollywood films. However it succeeds only sporadically. The film tries too hard to be funny......Read Full ReviewZee New: By Ananya Bhattacharya

Watch ‘Bol Bachchan’ just for laughing. But leave your sensibilities at home before going to watch this one. They will not be able to bear so much of torment. There's nothing in Bol Bachchan that is unpredictable. All of that culminates in a proper comedy, but the story line is non-existent.......Read Full ReviewBollywoodLife: By Team

The movie began on a boring note, but is developing into a better story. Ajay Devgn is incredulously funny and Abhishek’s comic timing is good. The parallel with Gol Maal – Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s 1979 film that Bol Bachchan is based upon – has been interestingly drawn. Asin's double role was not expected. Jokes apart, the film is worth a watch for Abhishek Bachchan and Ajay Devgn’s comic timing.....Read Full ReviewYahoo: By Kunal Guha

While this film is packed with epic fails, here are some of the best. Ajay Devgn tries his best to pull this one through but even his earnest efforts end up in vain. Whoever said two Bachchans are better than one had definitely not assumed even one of them would be Abhishek. Rohit Shetty not only assumes that his audience hasn’t seen the original ‘Gol Maal’ but also that they’ve been snoozing through this one........Read Full ReviewOne India: By Nabanita Roy

'Bol Bachchan' is at most a film that's mildly entertaining, but mostly exasperating. Abhishek's comic timing is mostly off by a mile. The movie's humour works, but the liberal sprinkling of action sequences and boo-hoo melodrama throws the flick off a track that could have clicked. Wait for the television premiere, unless you have absolutely nothing better to do this weekend......Read Full ReviewKoimoi: By Mrigank Dhaniwala

This is a Rohit Shetty film. Which means it is full of primary colours. It is full of cars and jeeps hurtling down roads and crashing and smashing. ‘Bol Bachchan’, less blaring than your standard Rohit Shetty comedy, can give you sporadic chuckles, and a few helpess laughs. Can’t expect more.......Read Full ReviewSome comments from the stars of Bol Bachchan
Abhishek says Bol Bachchan is the hardest film he has ever done & he feels exhausted after that.
Ajay Devgan spoke that in this one his character is a mixture of Singham & Golmaal. It was very tough to be soft, emotional & comic type.
Asin had to say that a fil like Bol Bachchan is bound to work.
Best option is don't go by review. Everyone had different taste. So watch and decide. If you want clean, no glamorous, family entertain, go for Rohit Shetty movies, you will not feel offended infront of family.
